GHALLANAI: Local Taliban of Mohmand Agency unconditionally released a young boy on Monday who they have abducted after a gun battle with another rival militant group named as Shah group in Khaiwaizai area bordering Afghanistan a few days before. Sources told The News that Haroon Khan, a young boy, was acquiring training in the training center of Shah group when Umar Khalid group of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacked their center killing 15 fighters at the spot and detaining more than 100 others on July 18,2008. Haroon Khan was included in the 100 hostages taken by them. At least thirty detainees were released on Wednesday after a jirga comprising Maulana Sher Ali Shah, Principal of Madrasa Haqqania, Akkora Khattak and Fazl ur Rehman Khalil, chief of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, successfully held talks with local Taliban.
