An Emirati man has been shot dead in US as he returned residence with his sick father from a Houston hospital, native media has reported.

Salim Saif Al Mazroui, from Ras Al Khaimah, was blasted in the chest several occasions as he and his father have been ambushed on entry to their house on Sunday.

Houston Police Department instructed reporters the pair had arrived again from Anderson Hospital where Mazroui’s father was undergoing cancer therapy when they have been attacked by two suspects at about 10.15pm local time.

It is believed the offenders had been mendacity in wait and bundled the men contained in the property before making demands and threatening them at gun point.

The father and son made a touch for the door however 25-yr-previous Mazroui was hit several instances and was pronounced dead by paramedics. His father escaped unharmed.

The suspects then fled within the victim’s car. Police imagine the pair were specifically focused by the attackers.
