Mexican authorities on Tuesday arrested an American woman traveling in a bus with 3,500 rounds of ammunition.

According to the Attorney General (Prosecutor), Gwendolyn Marrufo Sanchez admitted that her plan was to sell the goods, which hid among clothing and food cans, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

A U.S. Congress report said earlier this year that nearly two thirds of the guns recovered in Mexico come from U.S. soil.
