Mother-to-beis a Hollywood stunner.
And the 30-year-old actress, who is currently eight months pregnant, has admitted she is already making plans to get her pre-baby shape after the birth of baby number 2 later this month.
Jessica spoke candidly about how she plans to shed the extra weight with Lucky Magazine for their September Issue. “I wear a girdle around my tummy from the moment I give birth until it doesn’t feel loosey goosey anymore—that takes a good two to three months," she says. "It’s spandex with Velcro.”
The girdle is just a fraction of Alba's post-baby bounce-back plans. The Spy Kids 4 star is reportedly looking forward to getting her life back on track and spending a great deal of time at the gym once the baby is delivered. “I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered," the Piaget campaign says. "But I also work out, so basically I’m starving, it sucks. I drink a lot of water. Working out every day for even just 45 minutes is good for my mental state. But getting dressed and actually doing it is the worst. It’s hard to get motivated."
The actress, who welcomed her first daughter Honor Marrie with husband Cash Warren in 2008, adds that she's not gym-obsessed like other Hollywood celebrities."In the gym, I have like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery," Alba says. "Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out."
Her fitness routine aside, Alba says she's looking forward to getting back in front of the camera. "Why am I here?” she asks. “Sheer will and determination, dammit ... And I hustled like crazy. There’s a video of me when I’m 3, saying ‘This is a woman’s world, and I don’t need a man for nothin’!’”
Alba says she's been strong-willed since childhood. "I've kept my future in mind," she said. "I wasn't going to be a flash in the pan. I want my career to last a long time."
With second baby on the way, Alba declares she won’t have any more kids. "I really can't imagine having more than this-more than what's happening right now. Kids are a lot of work and at the end of a pregnancy, it's sort of like you can't really imagine having more. But we'll see," she said. However the actress has been enjoying her pregnancy and said she has taken more time to relax this time around. “Pamper yourself and do pre-natal yoga,” she suggested when asked how she has got through it.
