Six weeks jail for foam pie thrower

Jonathan May-Bowles, the comedian and activist for 26 years who tried to throw a shaving cream pie in the face of Rupert Murdoch, was sentenced to six weeks in prison, which must meet three, it was reported today.

May Bowles should also pay 250 pounds (400 dollars) and 250 penalty to cover legal costs.

Jonnie Marbles (his stage name) was mixed with the public during the hearing Murdoch against the parliamentary committee for Culture, Media and Sport, in the tapping scandal of News of the World. He stopped in his attempt to attack the tycoon's wife, Wendi Deng.
