The families of two French tourists killed in Argentina, received Sunday by Secretary of State for French nationals abroad, David Douillet, called for "the pain is respected" and "respected their privacy," said a ministry statement Foreign Affairs.

Asked about the identity of the two victims, the Foreign Ministry said that the families had hoped that it will not be disclosed.

Earlier, the Foreign Ministry had said to "fully trust the Argentine authorities (...) to shed light on the murders so that those responsible are identified and considered."
The bodies of two French tourists, aged thirty years, with bullet holes were found Friday night in a tourist area in the province of Salta in northern Argentina, and the body of the One of them showed signs of sexual violence, said Saturday the Argentine authorities and local courts.
