Disaster Preparedness Program

A photo exhibit on Disaster Preparedness Program at Robinsons Manila serves as a tool to people in providing information to help prepare, keep safe and recover from catastrophic events, especially during the rainy season.

The Philippines lies in calamity area within typhoon belt of Western Pacific. On average at least 20 typhoons strike the country each year.

According to the Office of Civil Defense, there are many steps we can take to safeguard our family and personal properties from the devastating events. One of the steps is the appropriate awareness and preparedness by way of educating Filipinos through this photo exhibit.

The photo exhibit is an excellent initiative of the Philippine Bureau of Communications Services.
