Coastguards rescuers report 62 would-be illegal immigrants tried/trying to land in spain in one day.
The first boatload of sub-saharan africans was detected on Sunday at 2100 hrs 50 miles southwest of Almeria. The 35 passengers arrived in the port around 0130hrs. They were all reported to be in good health.
On Monday an inflatable dinghy carrying 7 moroccans was detected just south of the coast of Tarifa ( Cadiz ) having crossed the Strait of Gibraltar from the spanish governed city of Cueta on the north african coast.
An hour and a half later; 20 moroccans were found trying to enter spain via the coast of Barbate ( Cadiz ) on a raft.
Emergency services say 16 of the 62 were children.
All of them will be shipped back after processing to where they came from.
