KESC forms dispute resolution committee

KARACHI: A nine-member Dispute Resolution Committee was set up by Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC) to end its standoff with sacked employees.

The committee has been empowered to investigate and annul illegal terminations. The committee will draft code of ethics for employees.

Under the new code of ethics, employees will be barred from protesting and interference in work, and will work for the betterment of the company.

Two sides will accept court’s rulings on pending cases.

The committee will meet the Finance Secretary to resolve its financial crisis
