Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick tweeted: "Congrats to both parties on settling the lockout. Intelligent men always find ways to win!!!"

Michael Vick refers to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith who both officially announced the league's new collective bargaining agreement. "It's been a long time coming," said Goodell referring the 132-day NFL Lockout as USA Today reports.

Now football is back, the NFL owners roll up their sleeves to deal with the free agency and signing of newly drafted as well as old. One of them is the rumored return of no other than Brett Favre. And rumors continue that he would be the backup of Philadelphia Eagles Michael Vick instead of Kevin Kolb?

Turns out you're not the only one growing tired of rumors of another Brett Favre comeback, because he won't break his promises this time.

According to long time Farve's agent Bus Cook who settled the rumored once after all that, "Brett Favre retired in January. He has not talked to any teams, including Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles, the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks," Bus told The Clarion-Ledger. "He has not talked to anyone about playing football. He's retired, period."

Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to open their training camp on Wednesday, July 27 according to NFL timeline.
