Top 5 films of 2011(So Far)

This year has been full of lackluster movies coming out, this article will display my top 5 films of the year so far. Now these are my personal favorites and they don't reflect the opinions of film or media critics alike. But who cares about the critics or media, this is the generation of the blogger. So here is the list: #5 Transformers: Dark of the Moon, with a domestic gross of $302 million at this point in time. This final film of the franchise was better than the second but not as good as the first. #4 Bridesmaids, with a domestic gross of $161 million at this point in time. This film sets the record for an R rated female buddy flick. #3 X-men: First Class, with a domestic gross of $143 million at this point. This prequel was better than expected and ranked higher in my book than the other superhero movies of 2011 so far. #2 The Hangover 2, with a domestic gross of $251 million at this point. This sequel was full of smiles and cries. I laughed so hard I started crying. #1 Fast Five, with a domestic gross of $209 million at this point in time. Hands down my favorite film of the year and possibly the best film in the franchise. Definitely a must see.
