Humans are not the only species that can exchange courtship even though we do so in the most complex ways. Some people in Lima, Peru even feel that courtship should be taken so seriously that a literal wedding should seal the deal and make honest women out of those lovebird bitches (which isn’t profanity in this instance).

Several Peruvian dog couples were united in holy matrimony with the stamp of a paw print on a certificate to indicate their legitimacy.

The pet owners considered their pets like children so they did for them what they would do for their children if they were in love: support a wedding to officialize their commitment to their significant other. They are also trying to teach us a valuable lesson in taking care of your animals as if they are your family. Animals need good homes with loving owners so every family counts.

Now the only thing left to do after this ceremony is hope that their honeymoon proves to be fruitful! Good luck guys!
