João Moutinho New FC Porto Player

After the injury to Michael Essien Chelsea are in a crisis situation. There efforts for the signatures of Luka Modric from Tottenham hotspur are not materialising. There midfield is the major weakness despiute having players like Frank Lampard.

Their new Manager Andre Villas-Boas is now left with no choice but to knock at the door of his old club Porto.

The man in which Chelsea are interested is their inspirational midfielder Joao Moutinho. Porto is valuing their ace at £35million. It is believed that even if Michael Essien was not injured Andre Villas-Boas had in his mind to sign the Porto ace.

Chelsea will have to pay the asking price because only few days back the President of Porto said "We do not reduce by one euro the price of our stars for the big foreign clubs."
