National Commission on Human Rights ( Komnas HAM ) to assess the decision of the case pf Prita Mulyasari be evidence of the decline of the Supreme Court ( MA ). The verdict was proof that the Supreme Court failed to protect Human Rights.

" It's a law enforcement should protect people who have been struggling in the lower court. It is a testament to the Supreme Court setback, " said Chairman of Komnas HAM, Ifdal Kasim, VIVAnews.com when contacted yesterday.

Ifdal added, the Supreme Court decision that granted the appeal prosecutor, to hold Prita for 6 months, will bring the impact of climate change everyone's freedom of expression.

Komnas HAM will seek dialogue to bring awareness to law enforcement. Ifdal purpose, so that law enforcement is more concerned with freedom of opinion. " It is also to be in law enforcement agencies more concerned with promoting freedom of expression is not defamation, " said Ifdal.

Prita accused of defamation because the complaint has deployed Omni Hospital services through electronic mail. With the decision of the Supreme Court, Prita threatened again languishing in jail for 6 months.

Previously, Prita 's attorney, Slamet Yuwono, said it would keep asking PK, despite knowing that the proposed PK did not halt the execution.

" We will ask PK although this PK did not stop the execution. But we will continue to struggle to find justice, " said Attorney of Prita, Slamet Yuwono when contacted VIVAnews, Saturday, July 9, 2011.

Slamet review decisions of the Supreme Court is strange because the first Supreme Court has won Prita in civil cases. " But why not for the criminal case, the Supreme Court is inconsistent " he said. ( sj )
