Idupulapay\a, July 9 : Turning sentimental at the second day of the plenary of YSR Congress here on Saturday, former minister and Congress MLA Ms. Konda Surekkha has said that she was God given sister to the late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
She said she felt she could not continue in the cabinet with out YSR when he died in the helicopter crash and got her resignation accepted by the Governor, though Jagan had objected to it. Though YSR was today not with us, his heart and thoughts remain with us, she said emotionally.
Surekha has said that Mr. Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was the replica of YSR’s thoughts. “YS’s heart is Vijayamma (wife and YSR Congress MLA) and his thoughts are Jagan, she said. Stating that Jagan was a leader who could hear the heart beats of the poor, she said he would serve the poor when he came to power, like his late father. She said Rajasekhara Reddy’s family never went back on their word and asserted that the people’s future would be safe in their hands. She said YSR earned himself a fond place in the hearts of all those who were benefited by his schemes.
Jagan’s entry gave hopes to youth: Putta
YSR Congress youth wing president Mr. Putta Pratapa Reddy has said that with Mr. Jagan’s entry into politics, hopes of the youth for a better future got once again rejuvenated. Addressing the plenary, he said the youth who got into despair after the death of YSR was once again recuperating. He has appealed to the government to provide employment to all graduates in the state.
Government diluted 108 services: Thippa Reddy
YSR Congress MLC Mr. Thippa Reddy has alleged that the present government had diluted the services of 108 and 104, introduced by the late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. He has assured that more diseases would be included for coverage in the Arogya Sri scheme if YSR Congress comes to power. He said that the government was not allotting even two rupees per head, for medicines.
