Kate might go canoeing while in the Northwest Territories while Prince William got a chance to show off his skills with the hockey stick – he participated briefly in a street hockey game. They are enjoying every minute of their stay in Canada.

Also on the schedule of the royal couple are meeting the Canadian Rangers who patrol the remote regions of the Arctic. Then would come the interesting aboriginal hand game. It is a type of gambling with stakes of bullets, furs, toboggans or match sticks and involves guessing what someone is hiding in his hands – clues are given by gestures.

The aborigines of Canada still refer to Queen Victoria as ‘grandmother’ – and Kate and William interacted with them to gather a new type of experience in governance. The royal couple was greeted in Yellowknife, Northwest territories by the beating of drums made of caribou skins – this was followed by singing of prayers in both aboriginal and Christian. Then the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were explained the unique form of governance that these people follow.
