Prince William, Duke of Cambridge was jubilant as he whooped it up when winning a dragon boat race across the Dalvay lake that he competed in against his wife the Duchess of Cambridge, a.k.a.on 4 July 2011 in Charlottetown, Canada.
Kate Middleton is no stranger to rowing and has been known to be at the helm of her 21-strong rowing crew who had trained on the River Thames with The Scion Sisterhood in London back in 2007.
Of her rowing capabilities, fellow crew member Emma Sayle said: “She's very gifted and capable… not on the team as a token celebrity. She’s fitted in well as she’s such a nice down-to-earth girl.”
