Early this summer, June 9th to be exact, Jacquee T., authoress, poetess and voice behind A Romantic's Perspective(.com), deemed a "Gotta Love the Gents!" day on her Twitter stream.

Noon-9 p.m. that day her "Tweets" acknowledged and celebrated the romantic side of men.

Featured "Tweets" included men in music -- and Jacquee T. needed not to look beyond select musicians she knew, to tap into passion men can express.

Select musicians and performances included:

---"Chances" song and video by James Stauber. The visuals present a love story, with featured characters in classic 19th century dress, plus juxtapose to a suggested background performing "orchestra" of musicians who span time, instruments and attitudes.

--- "It's Over" song and video by the band "Forget December," with Jonathan Cartwright and James Stauber. The lyrics challenge that it's never too late to chase your dreams; the visuals suggest nostalgia per the fellows' early 20th century dress.

--- "Ochi chornye" meaning "Dark Eyes," a traditional Russian/Yiddish song performed on violin by Ruby Harris. No video. Simply click on the "PLAY" icon to enjoy the "sweet listen," as Jacquee T. put it.

How she knows them

The musicians featured have performed at Jacquee T.'s book-signing events. They were invited because Jacquee is a fan of their music. Her only request for their performances at these events: "Perform songs that are 'romantic.'" From there the genres and songs were the musicians' choice.

And now they brought a bit o' romance to her Twitter stream.

Gotta Love their music:

--- "Chances" song & video

--- "It's Over" song & video

--- "Ochi chornye" violin performance.

--- Jacquee T. asked gents she knew via Twitter, for suggestions and responses about romantic wines and romantic cities. See some of their responses on the A Romantic's Perspective(.com) "Social Media" page.
