Indian lifts 10 kg in one eye to enter record book

He Indian lifted a 10-kiolgram weight using a hook placed on one of his eyes.


Rakesh Kumar, a resident of India s Punjab state created a new Guinness World Record by lifting a 10-kiolgram weight using a hook placed on one of his eyes.


Kumar beat his own previous record which he created on March 10, 2011 in Italy where he had lifted 6.64 kg by one of his eyes.

Inspired by an English stunt shows, an elated Kumar after creating the record in Ludhiana district, said that he wanted to use his power to bring laurels for India.

"I usually watch English programmes where I see people bringing laurels for their country. So, I thought of using my weight lifting and body building power to use in this stunt and bring good name to my country," said Kumar.
