At least at one nudist resort in France, being nude is not a privilege available to all. After denying entry to a sun-bather, the Rene Oltra nudist center was forced to seek permission from France's data protection authority to keep a list of black-listed individuals.
French law requires businesses to have authorization to keep such lists, therefore, any business wishing to excercise discretion in whom it caters to must have permission.
The center declined to comment on the individual who was turned away, but did explain that the center has a strict "naturist ethic." Guests are expected to respect the policy of nudity unless extenuating circumstances prevent it. Unhygienic and indecent guests are not tolerated.
