The Bundestag has sealed a large majority of the nuclear phase-out complete by the end 2022nd A total of 513 MPs voted for.

The Bundestag has sealed the end for nuclear power generation. 513 deputies voted by roll call for the phasing out of nuclear power until the year 2022. 79 parliamentarians voted against and 8 abstained.

Eight currently decommissioned nuclear reactors remain so permanently from the network, the remaining nine reactors should be shut down in stages.

Union, FDP, SPD and the Greens voted for an amendment of the Atomic Energy Act. The Left called for an earlier exit . With the decision adopted in the fall term extension will be taken back by up to 14 years and for each of the remaining nine nuclear power plants introduced a fixed Abschaltdatum.

SPD and the Greens claim the success
