WASHINGTON: The United States vowed Wednesday to pursue the “utter destruction” of al Qaeda, while refocusing its counter-terrorism strategy to combat the threat of home-grown terror.

New strategy come after 10 tear of US "war on terrorism" when after 11 september attack former president george W.Bush took action on it.

Obama,top counter terrorism advisor and Berren,Deputy national security advisor for homeland security said that the new strategy developed when US commanders killed OSAMA BIN LADIN on 2 MAY,2011 in Pakistan.
