Kate Moss fiancé chooses to flout the 'Best man' tradition

Apparently deciding to flout the best ‘man’ tradition, Kate Moss fiancé has asked his female band member to be his ‘Best Woman’ at his nuptials on Friday July 01, 2011.

Its believed that Jamie Hince requested his ‘The Kills’ band mate Alison Mosshart to take on the mantle of the ‘Best Man’ and thereby organize his stag party, take care of the wedding ring and also give a speech on the wedding day, informs media reports.

The duo has often been compared to a brother and sister on stage, due to how closely they bonded and understood one another.

However, this decision of Hince to choose a woman to serve as best man is indeed a novelty in what is considered to be a high-profile and one of the most talked-about weddings of the year.

The wedding will be hosted at Kate Moss’ two million pounds mansion in a quaint Cotswolds village near Burford and will comprise of a select guest list of 300 people.

Moss’ daughter Lila Grace will be the bridesmaid in all probability. The other bridesmaid is expected to be Sadie Frost”s daughter Iris Law, who happens to be Kate Moss’ goddaughter.

There is going to be a performance at the wedding by Rockers Snoop Dogg and Iggy Pop. In-fact the show has been nicknamed “Mosstock” and will comprise of three days of partying.
