All Gunmen killed in Kabul Hotel Shooting

Kabul hotel attacked by suicide bombers; 10 dead

In Afghanistan , at least nine people were killed when a hotel came under attack by gunmen and suicide bombers in Kabul.

An official said three bombers blown themselves up at the Intercontinental Hotel and another was shot dead.

Later, Nato said two of its helicopters killed three attackers on the roof of the Hotel.

According to Kabul's police chief all the guests were safe.

Officials said a meeting of provincial governors taking place at the hotel might have been the target of the attackers.

The Taliban have accepted the responsibility for the attack.

The attack came the night before the start of a conference about the gradual transition of responsibility for security from the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force to Afghan security forces.

According to Interior ministry the operation has ended and all the attackers on the hotel have been killed.
