THE Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has announced 700 posts of ASIs in the police department in various newspapers. The same posts had been advertised in June 2008. Thousands of candidates had applied for the posts. A large number of applications were received along with compulsory charge sheet of Rs500.

But no one knows where the applications were thrown. A large amount of money was paid for conducting tests but no one asks why tests were not conducted? The same posts have now been advertised again, perhaps, to hoodwink the poor people.

I request the chief justice of Sindh to take notice of the issue and ensure justice.
