Black men and men over 40 years old are said to be in the high risk bracket of those likely to get prostate cancer. All men in general, who are bus drivers, ride horses and bicycle are also said to be at a high risk of developing prostate cancer, later on in life.

A lack of Vitamin D and sunlight in a man's diet also contribute to prostate cancer.

A diet also rich in spices, Akee and salt fish which contains a toxin similar to cafferine-given off by its rotten state causes growth in prostate gland.

However, it is said if one makes their own curry from the beginning using turmeric power, could reverse prostate cancer.
