The Marshall Islands plan a massive sea wall to hold back rising sea levels

The scientists of Cuba recently estimated that the median sea levels around the Caribbean world will rise by more than 30 inches in 2100. The reason behind the rise is the global warming.

The scientists also predict that the sea level will rise 10.6 inches by 2050 and 33.5 inches by 2100. The Caribbean nation will suffer the worst due to this global climate. However there are no details of any preparations to deal with the rising sea levels.

The Caribbean scientists said that it is now urgent to preserve the coral reefs, sea grass and mangroves. All these ecosystems are the natural barriers to protect the coast from the climatic change. This rise in the sea level will be uniform through out the world due to the melting glaciers and ice caps.
