The world's oldest man, Jiroemon Kimura

The man, Ompo Toyangun Blast, a Mandaya lumad of Sitio Matabang, Taocanga, Manay, Davao Oriental on the island of Mindanao has great great grandchildren.

Ompo Toyangun Blas, 120 years old, the oldest man in Manay, Davao Oriental on the Philippine island of Mindanao living near Mt. Kampalili, part of the ancestral lands of Lanos-Blas clans.

Ompo lives in a "nipa" hut in the shadow of Mt Kampalili, part of the ancestral lands of the Lanos-Blas clans

If this is true, not only would this make him the oldest man in the Philippines, but it would make him the oldest man in the world.

According to his neighbors, he is well known locally as the oldest living man in Davao Oriental, Philippines. At the moment, a Japanese man Jiroemon Kimura, at 114 stands as the oldest man in the world alive.

At his age, Ompo can still see and hear clearly. He eats only root crops, corn and vegetables, and not oily foods.
