The race to land Blackpool and Scotland midfielder, Charlie Adam, is back on with Liverpool looking like the front-runners. The seaside club have revealed that they have received numerous inquiries about the playmaker, but all negotiations are very much in the preliminary stages at the moment.
it comes as no surprise to anyone that Liverpool would have such a keen interest in the Scot, given that they had a 6.8 million pound bid turned down in January of this year. Tottenham were also believed to have made an offer around the same time, so expect the London outfit to also figure into any negotiations.
The number of temas interested is good news for Blackpool, as that can only help drive up the asking price for their man. It's well known that the boys from the beach are on a tight operating budget, and a large cash influx from the sale of their star player could be a huge boost in their efforts to jump right back into the Premier League.
