Kuala Pilah, (Monday)-Parti Islam Semalaya-PAS- which has 24 members of Parliment in The House of Parliment is urged to drop the word Islam for the struggles of PAS didnot reflect the true Islamic teaching

UMNO Supreme Council, Fuad Zakahsi, said, Pas has prostitute their struggles when the Pas leadership willing to drop the intention of setting up Malaysia as Islamic country

He claims,the action taken by the Pas leadership because they were afraid of their caunter part, Democratic Action Party, DAP, which is lead by Lim Kit Siang.

"They were afraid chinese voters dont cast their vote for PAS candidate in the areas where chinese voters are dominant," he said

Futhermore he said, if PAS were willing to drop the word Islam, he suggested a new name,Parti Negara Kebajikan(Welfware State Party)

He said, such statement when deliver a speech at UMNO Kuala Pilah, UMNO Delegation Meeting,yesterday

Fuad as Deputy Minister of Education claims, PAS struggles not only confusing the malay but non malays also get confused with their struggles

Meanwhile, PAS Spritual Leader, Nik Aziz Nik Mat could not be reached to comment the issues.
