A German passenger had reportedly stripped completely naked on an Iberian Airlines flight from Madrid to Frankfurt, forcing the puzzled pilot and crew to turn the plane around back to Madrid, so that he could be “removed,” said the Spanish airline…
The German passenger apparently took off all of his clothes on the plane last Thursday night, per an Iberia spokeswoman on Friday.
The airline crew then tried to "dissuade" him but he became rather aggressive, shouted and then locked himself up in the toilet.
Once the plane was grounded, the police came aboard and "took him away," the spokeswoman said.
She also said that the airline had "no idea" why the unidentified man decided to strip for the flight.
The passenger apparently cooperated when Guardia Civil police arrived to collect him. They did not arrest him!
The pilot has reportedly filed a complaint saying that the passenger refused to obey crew instructions to sit down during the flight and then began to shout at them. However and most importantly, the complaint did not mention him stripping naked.
Police explained that the man was not drunk and they had no explanation for his behavior.
