First Hortal of 2011 in Bangladesh

Hartal is a common phenomena in bangladesh. The political clash between two major party often caused hartal. It is said that they never agree in a simple platform. Within 1 week of 5 may hartal, Opposition BNP and its alliance Jammat-e-Islami on Friday June 10, 2011 announced a non-stop 36-hour hartal from Sunday morning to protest the Awami government move to abolish the caretaker-government system. The government also placed national budjet for 2011-12 fiscal year on 9 june. The oppostion BNP did not support it. according to them it takes takes away from general mass. The issue for hortal it also may be.
