New time and venue for 3 Irish Open in 2010

The European Tour and Failte Ireland that the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club will host the Irish Open from 28th July to 31st July 2011 have confirmed it.

(TRAVPR.COM) THAILAND - June 8th, 2011 - The Irish Open traditionally attracts a large crowd, with more than 82,000 attending in 2010 and proves to be a good few days for all golfing enthusiasts. As the event is due to finish the day before a public holiday, it is expected that similar numbers, if not more, will be attending this year.

The Killarney Golf and Fishing Club is easily reached both by car and public transport and attendance at the event is by ticket. These can be obtained by contacting the organisers of the event, the European Tour. The event attracts some of golf’s biggest names and is an opportunity not to be missed. With four days of golf on offer, there will be plenty to keep visitors entertained.

Those who are looking for Killarney hotels will find a number in the immediate area. The budget accommodation in the region is basic yet comfortable and there are several hotels that cater for those with a little more to spend. Those who are staying a little further away will find that the public transport links are sufficient to reach the golf club.
