Heavy rains continue across the northern caribbean

Last week as bad weather approach authorities in Haiti, ordered residence of tent-cities who were made homeless by January 12th 2011 earthquake to seek higher ground. Since that call has been made, lakes across Haiti have since break their banks.

While in neighbouring Jamaica, heavy flooding has reportedly claim the life of one.

The area of unstable weather in the Caribbean which, is said to be responsible for the heavy rains is likely to continue for some time.

The Trans-Atlantis Hurricane Season which runs from June to November has just began.
