Gold mines nematodes live at a depth of more than three kilometers. In hot weather, little oxygen and little space to the living beings are extremely adaptable.
Deep within the earth it's tight and hot, also there is little oxygen and little or nothing to eat. Only very special beings can there, three kilometers below the earth's surface exist.
Biologists went so far assumed that was possible under such hostile circumstances, not a complex, multicellular life. But they were wrong.Inconspicuous, whitish nematodes, also called nematodes are found in more than three kilometers below their home.
Researchers discovered the nematode, including a previously unknown species, in thousands of years old included water in several mines in South Africa.
