This is a true story about the height of cruelty to dumb animals. A 5-year old dog in Malta was shot 40 times in the head by a pellet gun, its feet were tied up and the poor dumb creature was dumped in a grave. But – this dog lived to ‘tell’ the tale and is now a star in its own right. Its rescuers have named it Star.

It seems someone heard a whimper coming out from a grave like place – on closer scrutiny he saw the snout of this collie – the snout was tied with wires!!! The animal lovers who discovered this poor dog have taken it to the vet and put it under their care.

The police are trying to locate the person who was responsible for inflicting this sort of treatment to a dumb animal.
