Christina Milian enjoying the single life

It has been more than a year since Christina Milian divorced her husband The-Dream but the singer and actress says that she is not ready to date. The former couple announced their parting of ways in July 2010, after three months of marriage. The marriage ended less than five months after the birth of their first child, a daughter Violet, when The-Dream was caught folicking on a beach with his assistant, Melissa Santiago.

But according to Christina she’s “in a great space now”. Talking to the Star at the Joico event earlier this month she said, “I’ve learned that I’m strong.”

The singer says her daughter Violet is the driving force keeping her happy. "To see her face keeps me going.”

The 29 year old seems to be in no rush to return to the dating scene saying, “I'm not interested [ in dating]. Right now, I'm really getting to know myself."

However, she does reveal the qualities she will be looking for. "[He has to be] caring, loving, somebody that will be there and is funny. [But] I love single life. I'm very wise when I make my choices - but I do know how to have fun!"

Though for now it seems that Christina is happy to be single.
