A woman from Napavine reported that a tornado touched down on her outbuildings Friday afternoon in Washington State.
The damage is scheduled to be assessed on Sunday according to NWCN.com.
The Seattle Times reports from the Associated Press, Meteorologist Chris Burke in Seattle said a woman stated there was damage to her trees and outbuildings. He says a neighbor reported damage as well but didn't witness the twister.
Burke believes the report is credible due to thunderstorms and wind in the area Friday.
The National Weather Service is sending someone to the women's property in Lewis County to assess the damage from a possible tornado.
The weather authorities agree it is quite possible that a tornado did touchdown.
Reportedly, at least one person in Napavine saw a funnel cloud.
No reports of injuries have been filed.
