The Miserable World(?!)

I read this entry at Cracked, which you will find in the news story section below. The intent of the article is to in some sarcastic way address the growing anonymously of this world, or let us put it as the growing introvert characteristic of our world. He puts it as: "Scientists call it the Naked Photo Test, and it works like this: say a photo turns up of you nakedly doing something that would shame you and your family for generations. Bestiality, perhaps. Ask yourself how many people in your life you would trust with that photo. If you're like the rest of us, you probably have at most two. Even more depressing, studies show that about one out of four people have no one they can confide in." That truly is very sad.

Okay. Let me be honest. I might not always think the world is a perfect place to be in, but with the risk of being contradictory I am not sure it is miserable. It certainly is a pretty chaotic place right now. We have a number of pretty serious issues in front of us, that we all need to address by the means we have at hand individually. Should we feel miserable? No, I do not think so. Should we be aware that we have serious issues at hand? Yes. Do we need to think about this every day? I sure hope not. We should however interact with our fellow beings and suck in the joy around us, and return that favor.

Yikes. This sounds like "peace, love and understanding". Right? :-) Yeah, yeah, I know it sounds a bit naive but we need more capturing of the day around us. More comfort for the days to come, and create the feeling of possibility of change. I will for one try to at least.

Now it is time for some awesome Brazilian music. :-) (In real life that is, not as the video to the right.)
