HANGU: A bomb exploded near DPO office killing at least 19 people and injuring 30 others here on Thursday, police officials said.

According to the police official, the blast created a crater 8 feet deep.

Bodies and injured people have been taken to district hospital where emergency has been enforced while relief activities are underway.

DPO reached the site soon after the incident. Nearby houses and 15 shops were completely destroyed in the blast.
