day after reports of
Speaking from Denver on her 44th birthday, Madhuri said, "A remake of Satte Pe Satta sounds good. Let's be fair. The movie was made 29 years ago. It can't be the same. I'd like to see what changes have been made before I agree to do the film. They've told me they'll send the script. I'm waiting for it."
Another problem is that Madhuri Dixit-Nene has just returned home to the US and is in no mood to return to Mumbai in a hurry.
She said, "Through Jhalak Dikhla Jaa I was able to connect with the younger generation who had not seen that much of my work. It was a trip I will cherish. But now I am back here with my family. And I'd like to spend some time with them. So I don't really know when I'll return to India."
It has been heard that Madhuri Dixit is considering being a part of the 'Satte Pe Satta' remake to be produced by Sanjay Dutt. Back in the US now, the dhak-dhak girl enjoyed her television stint while she was at it and is seriously considering doing some good work in India from time to time.
It can be remembered that Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt were a couple in Bollywood and a romantic liaison between the two was largely speculated. However, when Sanjay found himself on the wrong side of the law, Madhuri decided to nip whatever might have been in the bud itself.Director of the Satte Pe Satta Soham Shah has upset Sanjay Dutt. The director recently made an announcement that Madhuri Dixit would play the female lead opposite Dutt in the actor's co-production with Shree Ashtavinayak.
