Indian firing at Sialkot border kills a Pakistani

India Opens Fire at Sialkot Boundary

Indiscriminate firing by Indian Border Security Forces in the wee hours of Sunday killed a Pakistani civilian and injured 10 people, including three Pakistani Rangers, at the Pak-India border near Sialkot city.

Reports said the clash, which continued for an hour, broke out at about 8:00 a.m. local time in the Bajra area of Sialkot.

The firing stopped following the retaliation by the Pakistani Rangers.

One civilian was killed and 10 others were injured on the Pakistani side in the firing, but no casualties were reported on the Indian side. Other details about the conflict are not immediately available.
