Cannes Film Festival 2011: Rachel McAdams flaunts glamorous looks - (PHOTOS)

The renowned Cannes Film Festival is meant to honor and appreciate movies from all over the world. However, the festival has also become one of the biggest fashion grounds for celebrities. The 64th annual festival kicked off on Wednesday, May 11, giving a chance to all the celebrities to show off their best fashion sense. As all eyes were set on the outfits of leading actresses in the glamorous Cannes Film Festivals, the ladies tried their level best to grab the spotlight.

On the big event of the Cannes Film Festival, Rachel McAdams simply stole the show with her absolutely stunning, gorgeous white dress. Along with Rachel McAdams, Uma Thurman also sported a fitted white Dolce & Gabana dress. 41-year-old Thurman managed to look super hot in a long-sleeved lace-print dress, before slipping into slinky Versace gown late in the evening.

32-year-old Rachel McAdams was looking radiant, as she arrived at the Cannes Film Festival, wearing a Maxime Simoens white shift dress with floral accents complimented with nude peep-toe pumps. The actress teamed up her look with her blonde locks and pretty spring beauty look with bright pink lips and cheeks.

The beautiful Rachel McAdams is in France to promote her latest movie, "Midnight in Paris", directed by Woody Allen. The actress was joined by boyfriend Michael Sheen, who also worked with her on the film, along with Woody Allen and co-star Owen Wilson.

On the big event, Rachel McAdams also posed with her real-life beau, Michael Sheen, for photographers before a screening of the film. While talking about their relationship, Rachel McAdams said she is hoping they will be able to follow in the footsteps of her parents, who are her romantic inspiration. The hottie added, "They are still together and still in love. I'm very blessed that way. I had a great example of love in front of me, and that's probably what makes me such a romantic, because I've seen it firsthand."

The stunning Rachel McAdams showed off another exquisite look at the opening ceremony and the "Midnight in Paris" premiere at the Palais des Festivals. With her dazzling undone wavy hair in a sheer lacy red gown, the super sexy Rachel McAdams totally grabbed the spotlight.

Rachel McAdams was not the only glamorous star to hit the red carpet for the first day of the event. Besides Rachel McAdams, Salma Hayek also flaunted floral fashions by wearing a red ruffled Gucci dress. On the other hand, Indian actress Aishwarya Rai was looking simply outstanding in an asymmetric heavily embroidered nude dress.

The world's biggest cinema showcase, the Cannes Film Festival, will end on May 22.
