FAISALABAD, May 8 – Osama bin Laden, the most wanted terrorist, leader of Al Qaeda and mastermind behind 9/11 attacks in United States; was killed on May 1 in Abbottabad, a town near capital city of Pakistan, in a top secret operation by U.S. Navy SEALs Team 6.

President Barack Obama confirmed his death after few hours of the raid on Bin Laden’s Abbottabad compound. Al Qaeda has already confirmed his death and warned retaliation as a result of killing of their leader.

Reportedly, Osama Bin Laden has been staying in Pakistan for more than five years with his family. His son, Khalid bin Laden, was also killed in May 1 operation; while his Yemeni wife and 12-year-old daughter are in custody of Pakistan security agency.
