RCB beat KTK by 9 wickets. The 50th T20 match of IPL season 4 2011 between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) has been held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on May 8, 2011. The match is scheduled to start at 4:00pm IST (10:30 GMT) on Sunday.

KTK won the toss and elected to bat first, They made 125/9 in 20 overs. Klinger (24) was the highest scorer, followed by Jadeja (23), McCullum (22) and Parthiv (19). Sreenath and Vettori picked up 2 wickets each. Gayle, Zaheer and Mithun took 1 wicket each for RCB. Chasing 126 to win, RCB scored 128/1 in 13.1 overs. Gayle played a blister innings of 44 off just 16 balls. He hit 5 sixes and 3 fours in his innings. Dilshan was not out for 52 and Kohli was not out for 27. Gayle won Man of The Match award for hid superb all round performance.
