Jose Castelar Cairo, better known as "Cueto, a cigar roller from Havana, Cuba, has broken his own world record by rolling the world’s longest cigar that stretched 268 feet 4 inches (81.8 meters), or most of the length of a football field, GMA News said.
“Cueto” learned cigar rolling when he was only 5 years old, and now at the age of 67, had set the record four previous times for the pride of his country, producer of the world’s finest cigar, Cuba.
For this new record, he sought the help of several assistants, sprawling the long cigar in tables lined up across El Morro, an old Spanish fort overlooking Havana Bay, where Cuba is holding its annual International Tourism Fair.
