“Osama is dead” celebrations

After the death of Osama Bin Laden, there were great celebrations all over United States. There was more rapidly assembled rally outside the White House too. But Penn State had a cheerleader doing a backflip over fire. So clearly they win the “Yippie ki yay we got that Osama dude” celebration circuit. A saxophone player was in the middle of the crowd playing "The Star Spangled Banner" and the crowd sang along.

This seems like how they celebrate freedom from British rule in 1700s. The Americans didn’t sleep for a whole night after they hear news about Osama’s death. Obviously, there were great emotional celebrations all around.
