As chart topping singer Adele prepares to fend off The Wombats at the top of the album chart she has been telling the world about her recent naked appearance on a London high street. The star made the revealation on the BBC's Graham Norton Show where she also performed a stunning live version of her new single Set Fire To The Rain.
Adele told Norton that she made the mistake of popping out to the shops without taking time to put on her underwear. Adele told a chuckling Norton:
'I got up, threw on a kaftan sort of thing with no sleeves to go to the shops, and the wind got up just as a bus was passing. The whole thing was hula-hooping around my neck and I was completely naked and everyone on the bus saw everything.'
The singer was unabashed and able to laugh at the situation saying that as the kaftan was over her head no one could tell it was her - that's until now if they were watching the show or if they read this story!
'21', Adele's phenomenally successful album, is the most successful UK album ever, having bee at number one for the last 12 weeks. It is expected to stay at number one again this week despite pressure from The Wombats with their new album 'This Modern Glitch'
