Former "Laguna Beach" star, Kristin Cavallari, got the sweet surprise with reportedly a 5.2-carat rock while on vacation on Mexico with her NFL star boyfriend Jay Cutler.

The Chicago Bears quarterback popped up the big question to Kristin Cavallari while the duo was enjoying vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

According to sources, Jay Cutler surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to marry him. The proposal was well-accepted by Kristin Cavallari and the two got engaged over the Easter weekend. The happy news of their engagement has been confirmed by the sources close to Kristin Cavallari. The couple took the decision of getting engaged after just eight months of dating.

An insider revealed that 24-year-old Kristin Cavallari was so excited and completely blind-sided when 27-year-old Jay Cutler proposed her. Kristin Cavallari told her girlfriends on Monday that they had been celebrating their engagement all weekend.
