More classified documents have been leaked, this time concerning prisoners held at Guantanamo. There is no doubt that the Obama Adminstration will consider the release a violation of U.S. law that threatens the nation's security.
But wait a minute. Where did they come from. Some media outlets say they came from Wikileaks, which have been reported for months to have them. The Times apparently never got the denial to Reuters, which reported Wikileaks did provide the info.
The Pentagon and Guantanamo condemned the release of information and said "the documents were obtained illegally by Wikileaks..."
, which once benefited from its cooperation with Julian Assange but lately has sought to paint him as delusional and dirty, insists it got them from another source. Does that mean the Times will be the subject of a grand jury investigation.
Is there another Pfc. Bradley Manning out there, and if so, will he/she be prosecuted? If there are numerous leaks the government better get control of itself and its data. Clearly the Times knew this information was confidential.
Were numerous sources leaking these documents. Did you have to stand in line?
President Obama has attacked Manning, accusing him of contempt for the nation's law. How is the Times different. At least Manning wasn't trying to sell ads.
Every day it seems there are more and more similarities between the Arab nations desperately fighting for their freedom and the U.S. Except nothing is happening here, all the talk is about how many more social services can be cut.
